What Do You Think Will Be The Next Big Change In The Watchtower?
by minimus ini think there will be a change in the 144000 belief.
too many witnesses think they have a heavenly hope.
maybe 1914 will be discarded too.. what is your watchtower prediction?

I don't think "reasoning from the scriptures" is encouraged any more. There's too many holes in their reasons. The GB do however have to keep those already enslaved busy and away from the internet lest they decide to research...well... anything really, because we all know what happens when you start down the rabbit hole.
I can see how the r &f might be impressed by a big screen.

As we left the cinema I told my daughter I didn't remember a few things quite like they were depicted in the film but later learned it was because they shifted the timeline about so the build-up to Live Aid would be more dramatic.

Dreading the new system of things
by Addison0998 inwas i the only one who secretly dreaded the new system of things a little bit when i was a believing witness?
of course i felt very guilty, because of all the sick and heartbroken people who needed a perfect world to live in.
but there are a lot of nice parts of life i was going to secretly miss.

We had a sister who constantly liked to speculate on life in the new system. Her main concern was that there would be naked bottoms on her sofa.

Animals
by unsure inif humans have to suffer to have free will and to disprove satan's challenge to god as mentioned in the bible...then why the f*ck do animals have to suffer as well?
.
satan's challenge involved humans and not poor animals.. i'm looking for an honest explanation from believers.. at this point, the older i get, the less i believe in a god who is "love"..

God supposedly deliberately designed and manufactured animals to grow old and die. Inbuilt planned obsolescence in a living feeling sentient being is not love in my book.

Did you enjoy your visit to Bethel?
by Addison0998 ini recently had to take a trip with my family to bethel.
it was a bit torturous for a secret apostate as you can imagine.
but mostly just so boring.

The highlight of our tour was seeing a feather cleaning machine for their pillows. They actually rip open the pillows, deposit the feathers into the machine and then decant them back into an empty clean pillow case.

Where do Christians,Muslims and Jews think/believe Heaven is ?
by smiddy3 inin this 21st century with so many nations involved in space exploration sending satellite`s out into the far reaching` s of the universe and none have detected anything resembling what could be described as a heaven ,i`m just wondering how these 3 major religions that base their beliefs on sections of the bible would/could answer this question.?.
not only have these many satellites been deployed to various parts of our solar system but at least a couple have even ventured out of our solar system into deep space .. and none have encountered a heaven of any description.. your thoughts ?.

I went to see Bohemian Rhapsody and was expecting pleny of Queen music but not much more. I was blown away by Rami Malek (MrRobot) He was beyond awesome as Freddie Mercury. Best film I've seen in ages.
